Three More Disturbing ‘American Horror Story: Asylum’ Teasers Appear

American Horror Story Title

Now that the American Horror Story: Asylum marketing has begun, horror fans are beginning to wonder what all these teasers mean? Earlier we saw three short Asylum promos, “Special Delivery,” “Blue Coat,” and “Hydrobath.” And now three more teasers have graced the Interwebs and have begun to crank up the freak factor. These newer ones are a bit more unsettling and I love it. Check out the “White Rose,” “Ascend,” and “Glass Prison” teasers after the jump. Continue reading

Three Creepy Teasers for ‘American Horror Story: Asylum’ Surface

American Horror Story Asylum Teasers

Those anticipating the arrival of American Horror Story: Asylum have been given a treat on the Internets this week as multiple promo teasers have revealed themselves with terrific disturbing imagery. It was last season’s marketing that got me to become a believer, and it appears to be working again. Although I was left quite conflicted by the first season, my faith has been peeking out of the shadows, anxiously awaiting to see how ridiculous American Horror Story: Asylum will play out.  Continue reading

‘Silent Hill: Revelation 3D’ Trailer, Poster, and Screenshots

Silent Hill Revelation 3D Trailer

Now I’ve never played any of the games relating to the Silent Hill franchise, but I have seen the first movie adaptation that released in 2006. What I like about this series is that it goes beyond horror; there is something more to it  than just a simple haunting or a serial killer chasing down teens. Above all, it has some pretty horrifying imagery. Check out the first full-length trailer for Silent Hill: Revelation 3D after the jump. Continue reading

First ‘Paranormal Activity 4’ Trailer Debuts

Paranormal Activity 4 Trailer

The haunting continues with the fourth installment of the Paranormal Activity franchise. This low budget spook fest has garnered its fair shares of pros and cons, but it always continues to stay fresh compared to other horror series that have gone on to a fourth film. Paranormal Activity 4 will not be going backwards this time, but rather forwards – after the events of the first film. Watch the trailer after the jump! Continue reading

Comic-Con 2012 Cosplay Gallery

Comic-Con 2012 Deadpool Deadmaus

Cosplay, the quintessential element to any successful Comic-Con. For some, cosplaying can be fun. Others it is their job. And to many it is expression of who they are, an art form. It is a treat for attendees no matter how you look at it. I highly enjoyed seeing all of the cosplayers and only wish that I had half the creativity they had. After the jump check out all of the pictures I took of some of the best cosplaying I encountered during Comic-Con 2012Continue reading

2011: A Year Of Entertainment In Review

Movie Theater Popcorn

What a year in entertainment it was! Not only was it a record breaking year for movies – 27 sequels were released in 2011  – but there has been a lot of crazy happenings in television as well. We got some great popcorn flicks – Tranformers: Dark of the Moon, X-Men: First Class, and Rise of the Planet of the Apeswe saw the final Harry Potter film, Breaking Bad season four was nucking futs, Community was put on hiatus til Spring of 2012, and we were introduced to American Horror Story.

I myself sat down to partake in the viewing of a lot of entertainment this year, but not as much as I would have liked. Again, I had tried to fulfill a year of more films to knock off my shame-list, but sadly I was overtaken with more real-world priorities and a very inconsistent work schedule. How much media did I watch this year that I have never seen before? I kept track, so take a look! Continue reading

American Horror Story House For Sale And Season 2 News

American Horror Story House and Season 2

After a rollercoaster of a season, Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk somehow pulled off a show that many had dismissed on the very early stages – myself included – with a pretty decent ending to the Harmon family. Now that the first season of American Horror Story neatly tied up loose ends and was left with a tidy little bow, what could be in store for season 2? Continue reading

Celebrate Halloween With a ‘Trick ‘r Treat’ 24-Hour Marathon on FEARnet

Trick 'r Treat Sam

Breaking through the static of mainstream horror of all its splatterore porn and “found footage” films is a tough business to be had. One man dared to dream, Michael Dougherty. Today, October 31, 2012, FEARnet brings you a 24-hour marathon of his film Trick ‘r Treat, which I can honestly say is one of the best horror films of the modern era. Continue reading

FEARnet’s ‘Trick ‘r Treat’ Halloween PSAs and 24-Hour Marathon

FEARnet Trick R Treat Halloween Rules

I FREAKING LOVE HALLOWEEN. The spirit of the holiday season is amazing and it’s not just because the female species feels that it is necessary to dress slutty 78% of the time. The horror movies, the candy, the parties, the atmosphere, the eeriness of it all to be celebrating the dead – or undead – I LOVE IT ALL. And what better way to celebrate All-Hallows-Eve then to have a 24-hour Trick ‘r Treat marathon. But before we partake in this amazing movie marathon, we must first carefully follow the rules of Halloween provided by FEARnet. Check out four-amazingly well-done PSAs of Halloween after the jump.
