FEARnet’s ‘Trick ‘r Treat’ Halloween PSAs and 24-Hour Marathon

FEARnet Trick R Treat Halloween Rules

I FREAKING LOVE HALLOWEEN. The spirit of the holiday season is amazing and it’s not just because the female species feels that it is necessary to dress slutty 78% of the time. The horror movies, the candy, the parties, the atmosphere, the eeriness of it all to be celebrating the dead – or undead – I LOVE IT ALL. And what better way to celebrate All-Hallows-Eve then to have a 24-hour Trick ‘r Treat marathon. But before we partake in this amazing movie marathon, we must first carefully follow the rules of Halloween provided by FEARnet. Check out four-amazingly well-done PSAs of Halloween after the jump. The Dark Knight Rises Teaser Poster and Trailer

Our second official Dark Knight Rises marketing piece has been released in the form of a teaser poster. Previously, the only other marketing materials we have seen thus far have been a great first look at our villain, Bane. But fear not my friends, for more Batman is upon us very soon! It has been said to believe that we will get our first glimpse at The Dark Knight Rises attached to Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 as a teaser trailer. If you know any of Christopher Nolan’s previous teasers for his movies you know how vague they can be. Follow me after the jump where you can see the full image of the first teaser poster for The Dark Knight Rises and read the full description of what the teaser trailer is said to behold!

Saturday’s Schedule for The San Diego Comic-Con 2011

If you ever wanted to let your geek flag fly high and proud than Saturday is your day! On Satruday, the San Diego Comic-Con will house a full array of anything you could ever ask for in a convention. From discussions on the future of comics to the inspirational words of Joss Whedon, this day is your day. You can learn how to draw in one room and learn about the future of Avatar: The Legend of Korra in another. Panels will discus videogames, anime, manga, steampunk, and so much more. I’m still really really pissed I wasn’t able to get a badge for this thing.

The ever so infamous Hall H will be graced by the presence of FRANCIS FORD COPPOLA as he presents his panel on his new film TWIXT! How ridiculous is that?! Unfortunately the bigger guns like The Avengers, The Dark Knight Rises, and Superman: Man of Steel are not making a big presence, if any, at the con, but you will be getting previews of Snow White and the Huntsmen, Dorothy of Oz, Knights of Badassdom, and Immortals. Even Kevin Smith will be in Hall H.

So check out the entire line-up for Saturday after the jump and be sure to check out the schedules for Thursday and Friday too!

First Look: Tom Hardy as Bane in Christopher Nolan’s ‘The Dark Knight Rises’

Let The Dark Knight Rises viral marketing begin!!! Much have I anticipated the long arrival of the next viral marketing campaign for Christopher Nolan’s third Batman film. This first image of the villain Bane, one of the many villains in the upcoming film, is the first of many incidents we will hopefully be given to explore the world of Gotham city! Casting Tom Hardy is one thing, but casting him as a villain should be a spectacle to behold, especially with Nolan at the helm. Go after the jump to see how it all got discovered!

Henry Cavill Cast as Superman for Zack Snyder’s Film

The debate on who would be cast as the man of steel has finally reached an end. Ladies and gentleman, may I please direct your attention to Henry Cavill (The Tudors, Stardust). This Brit will be donning the infamous red and blue tights as he battles into the unknown as we have yet to hear an official plot synopsis thus far. And for those worried about a British actor playing such an iconic figure, may I enforce the fact that Christian Bale is British and playing Bruce Wayne, Andrew Garfield is at Brit playing Peter Parker, and Ryan Reynolds is a Canadian acting as Hal Jordan. You can read the fill press release after the break.
