Last night’s 86th Annual Academy Awards, held inside the Dolby Theater in Hollywood, brought together the biggest names in cinema for the glitziest night of the year. While the excitement inside was placed on who would win Ocsar gold, all eyes were focused on the stars dressed to the nines on the red carpet prior to the big show. Nothing is sacred in this sick, twisted world we live in, not even the innocence of Disney Animation. And only after few months in theaters a handful of fans have devoted their creativity to produce some very clever parodies of Frozen that would turn Mickey Mouse red. One is an adult interpretation of “Let it Go;” another is the plight of an alto singer versus Disney songwriters; and the last is a parody of Elsa as if she had the ability of fire instead of ice. And then we have a bonus video that introduces some adult elements in Frozen you never thought possible. With the rise in fame of Disney’s critically and commercially acclaimed blockbuster, Frozen, the House of Mouse has recently release the full-length video version of “Let it Go” in 25 different languages. This special video of the two time Oscar nominated animated feature is the same sequence you would have seen in the movie except they have expertly cut and edited the scene as if Elsa could speak all 25 languages. 2013 A Year of Entertianment in Review

Since Turn The Right Corner’s inception four and a half years ago I never imagined I would have come this far with the site. When I started this little blog I began to consume as many movies that I have never seen before in order to build my palette, with the full intention to see how many I could watch in a calendar year – had to make it at least seem like I knew what I was talking about, right?. And this lifestyle has evolved from just films to books, video games, and television. Despite some technical difficulties last year I wasn’t able to talk about 2012, but I am excited to bring you my 2013 Year of Entertainment in Review. Taking part in Dodge truck commercials, the MTV European Music Awards, and now on KX News in Bismarck as a special guest co-anchor, Mr. Burgundy has been quite the busy man as of late.
