Walt Disney Animation Studios is putting it all out on the table by introducing Frozen as a musical. In the newest trailer, a month before the film’s release, Disney fans will have their first listen to “For the First Time in Forever,” sung by Kristen Bell (Anna) and Idina Menzel (Snow Queen Elsa). Disney fans hoping to catch a glimpse of the most anticipated Saving Mr. Banks got their wish during the live-action panel this Saturday at the D23 Expo. Making their way on stage during Marvel Studio’s presentation at D23 Expo this morning, stars Tom Hiddleston, Natalie Portman, and Anthony Hopkins made themselves available to present a clip from Thor: The Dark World. What was shown, that hasn’t made its way online yet, depicts the first meeting of Jane Foster and Odin, protector of the Nine Realms. Most folks may recognize Tomorrowland as the theme park attraction from Disneyland. But for those following Disney Studios closely know that it’s their next live-action film under the direction of Brad Bird (The Incredibles; Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol). D23 Expo 2013: ‘Big Hero 6′ Characters Revealed by Disney Animation Studios
With Disney’s Frozen coming out later this winter, animation fans are already buzzing about the studio’s next feature film. A Marvel/Disney hybrid, Big Hero 6 is the first collaborative adaptation between the two houses. Directed by Don Hall (2011’s Winnie the Pooh), the movie follows the story of a 14-year-old boy genius named Hiro who lives in the futuristic city of San Fransokyo.
