‘Gravity’ and ‘American Hustle’ Top 86th Annual Academy Awards Nominees
This morning Thor Chris Hemsworth and the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences president, Cheryl Boone Isaacs, were nice enough to wake up at the butt crack of dawn to announce the nominees for the 86th Annual Academy Awards. While there were many that stood out as “duh” nominations, like American Hustle and Gravity earning ten nominations and12 Years a Slave walking away with nine, there were snubs that actually surprised me this year. 2014 Producers Guild Awards Nominees Announced
The nominees for the 25th Annual Producers Guild of America Awards were announced this week as awards season picks up after the holidays. There are only four categories for film, the big one being The Darryl F. Zanuck Award for Outstanding Producer of Theatrical Motion Pictures. Most of the films we’ve seen from other organizational honors this year have been nominated while Inside Llewyn Davis and The Butler have been left out in the cold.
