20th Annual SAG Awards Winners List

It was a pretty big night for awards season frontrunners at the 20th Annual SAG Awards. Everyone you pretty much expected to walk away with the Actor did. American Hustle took home the big prize for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture, while Breaking Bad and Modern Family took it home for their respective televison categories for drama and comedy. Although the night was full of non-surprises, it was however a great night for acceptance speeches, especially from Lupita Nyong’o, Bryan Cranston, and Rita Moreno. This morning Thor Chris Hemsworth and the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences president, Cheryl Boone Isaacs, were nice enough to wake up at the butt crack of dawn to announce the nominees for the 86th Annual Academy Awards. While there were many that stood out as “duh” nominations, like American Hustle and Gravity earning ten nominations and12 Years a Slave walking away with nine, there were snubs that actually surprised me this year.
