Five Short Clips Release from Tim Burton’s ‘Frankenweenie’

Tim Burton's Frankenweenie Clips

Never big on seeing movie clips before the actual movie releases, I had to check out what the fuss has been about for Tim Burton’s Frankenweenie. Back in the day, I wouldn’t have given a second thought in seeing a Tim Burton flick, but nowone could doubt Mr. Burton’s creative abilities – especially after Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Alice in Wonderlandand Dark Shadows. Five clips have been released for Frakenweenie and although they erase some of my worries, I still reserve some precaution. Continue reading

Wreck-It Ralph Bad Guys Anonymous

Sonic the Hedgehog, Zangief, Bowser, Q-Bert, and Clyde. When first watching the trailer to Wreck-It Ralph, the immediate thought, how was Disney able to snag all of these iconic video game characters? By cornering them at E3 of course, when they have no where to run. With all the major game developers trapped in one place, it would only make sense to grab their attention at the biggest video game convention of the year. After the jump find how much involvement the studio gave the developers, along with four brand new character posters! Continue reading

‘Monsters, Inc. 3D’ Trailer

Disney Pixar Monsters Inc 3D

Monsters, Inc. 3D is becoming frightfully more real as the end of the year draws near. I for one would preferably rather see The Incredibles post converted into 3D because of the more action-y, visual elements in that film, but we’ll just have to suffice with Monsters, Inc. for now. The first trailer has appeared online for your viewing pleasure. Are you ready to go back to Monstropolis? Continue reading

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Return to Television this September

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2012

Never in my life would I believe my eyes when I found out that Jason Biggs, the one we all know as the pie molester from American Pie, would be the voice of the leader of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Back in my hey day, TMNT was my go to cartoon, next to The Real Ghostbuters, Transformers, and of course 90s Nickelodeon. Revitalizing the franchise for the umpteenth time, the turtles are back in an all new CG-animated series on Nickelodeon. Continue reading

After the jump check out all of the pictures I took of some of the best cosplaying I encountered during Comic-Con 2012Continue reading

Comic-Con 2012: Sunday Schedule

Comic-Con 2012 Sunday Schedule

And on the last day, Stan Lee said, “Let thy rest.” After three full days of rubbing elbows with sweaty Hobbits, listening to unproportioned Batman’s growl, and seeing more slave Leia’s than Jabba’s sail barge, Sunday during Comic-Con is a day of re-cooperation.  There aren’t any really big names appearing on Sunday other than BBC’s Doctor Who, FX’s Sons of Anarchy, and an overview of the 15-year history of Harry Potter. But if you’re interested in going, we’ve got the schedule for Sunday here.  Continue reading
