Kick-Ass 2 Becoming as Unlikely as Sin City 2

Rumors about my favorite films tug on my heart strings hard, especially when the air is cleared. As Sin City 2 has proven, many things should be taken with a grain of salt until we find out the truth. And like Sin City 2, it appears that Kick-Ass 2 will not be happening anytime soon. The best of the worst of 2010 are on display now that the 31st Annual Razzie Award nominees have been released online. Many of the nominees are no surprise and I look forward to see the winners when they are announced at 7:30pm/PST, Saturday, February 26 at Barnsdall Gallery Theatre in Hollywood. Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides Teaser Trailer

Franchise nostalgia start your engines. Pirates of the Caribbean has not seen a movie since 2007 and many believed that the franchise would never see another movie with all of the mixed emotions of the second and third movies. I, myself, find them easily acceptable, but nothing too amazing praise about. The first one will always hold a place in my heart. But let’s talk about this teaser trailer for Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, which you can watch after the jump and look for the movie May 20, 2011! [Update 1/2: I just nabbed over 150 screenshots of the trailer too!]

Pirates of the Caribbean Hi-Res Production Stills

Some great colorful and spoiler-free photos were release from Walt Disney Pictures for Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides! Photos of Johnny Depp and Penelope Cruz are the main focus in these pictures. I have a lot of faith in this project and love the Pirates franchise, and yes I did not like the sequels as much as the first film, but there was still some good thought in there. Check out the stills after the jump!

Collider Says To Believe in Dark of the Moon!

The lucky ones at Collider got to join a few other film writers on an adventure to Bay Films to witness over 20 minutes of unfinished footage of Transformers Dark of the Moon. Questions were answered, hope was raised, and explosions were witnessed. They also got to interview Michael Bay for over two hours, which they say is quite uncommon for the filmmaker. Steve Weintraub praises the 3D and the cinematography shown claiming, “The 3rd film has huge scope and some ridiculously awesome action set pieces.  I saw some stuff that I have never seen in any movie.” You can check out his 22 minute Vlog with AICN Mr. Beaks after the break or go to the article itself at Collider to read all the Transformers Dark of the Moon information with a few minor spoilers.

Emma Stone Reveals Her True Roots As Gwen Stacy

Emma Stone debuted her blond hair, her natural hair color, at the Trevor Live Project Hollywood Palladium on Sunday in Hollywood. I don’t think I could have ever pictured, or known Stone to be a natural blond if she didn’t say so herself. Obviously this is dyed and not natural, but still this is a complete 180° to the red head we’re use to. She will be playing Gwen Stacy in the Spider-Man reboot directed by (500) Days of Summer director Marc Webb. They just began shooting this week too. Pretty exciting. Check out Emma Stone with her blond hair after the jump!
