Michael Douglas Official Cast as Hank Pym in Marvel's Ant-Man

In an official announcement made by Marvel Studios today, it has been confirmed that Michael Douglas (Wall Street; Basic Instinct; Traffic) will play the role of Hank Pym in Edgar Wright’s new film Ant-Man. First appearing in “Tales to Astonish” #27 in January 1962, Pym was the first to don the Ant-Man suit, as well as one of the founding members of The Avengers. Douglas will star alongside Paul Rudd (I Love You, Man; Role Models) who will play Scott Lang, another character in the Marvel Universe who has appeared as Ant-Man.
