Henry Cavill Cast as Superman for Zack Snyder’s Film

The debate on who would be cast as the man of steel has finally reached an end. Ladies and gentleman, may I please direct your attention to Henry Cavill (The Tudors, Stardust). This Brit will be donning the infamous red and blue tights as he battles into the unknown as we have yet to hear an official plot synopsis thus far. And for those worried about a British actor playing such an iconic figure, may I enforce the fact that Christian Bale is British and playing Bruce Wayne, Andrew Garfield is at Brit playing Peter Parker, and Ryan Reynolds is a Canadian acting as Hal Jordan. The Official Trailer for ‘The Green Lantern’

This trailer has been up for a while now, a week tops, but I finally got to posting it. Sue me, I’ve been busy. But anyways, here it is. The official ‘The Green Lantern’ trailer has been released. I have it hear in HD and in English. So hah, that’s what I can give you for waiting. The trailer is courtesy of YouTube, courtesy of Apple.com.

This trailer makes the film look like a lot of fun while Ryan Reynolds does his thing. You gotta let Reynolds do his thing, it’s Ryan freaking Reynolds, look at those abs. The Green Lantern also stars the lovely Blake Lively, Peter Sarsgaard, Mark Strong, Jay O. Sanders, Temuera Morrison, Taika Waititi, Jon Tenney, Angela Bassett, Tim Robbins and directed by Martin Campbell (Goldeneye, Casino Royale).

Batman 3 Entitled, ‘The Dark Knight Rises’

Let the speculation begin! Christopher Nolan has finally broken silence about the third Batman project and Hero Complex scored a nice little interview with the director. The Dark Knight Rises will be the title of the third Batman film and along with that bit of information, Nolan has also offered up the news that The Riddler will not be the villain.

It has been confirmed by Deadline, who spoke with Zack Snyder (300, Watchmen, Dawn of the Dead), that he is now taking control of the director seat and will be starting Superman, for Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures, when he finishes with Sucker Punch.
