Comic-Con 2013: Saturday Recap and Photo Gallery
Since I’ve only had the chance to see half of what there is outside of the convention center and just a fraction of the SDCC showroom floor, today I had my work cut out for me. Zachary Levi’s Nerd HQ and The Jackdaw were high on my list today, along with chipping away more of what there is to see inside. It was a fairly bountiful day at Comic-Con 2013. Check it out after the jump. Continue reading
Comic-Con 2013: Legendary Pictures’ ‘Godzilla’ Experience
If you happened to be outside the San Diego Convention Center near PETCO Park this weekend you may have noticed a building that looked like it was attacked by a monster. Thanks in part by Legendary Pictures and Warner Bros., the king of monsters, Godzilla himself is coming back on to the big screen in May of 2014. What Legendary and Warner Bros. brought to Comic-Con 2013 this year was an experience far more extravagant then a teaser clip like last year, they brought fans to Japan to see the beast up close and personal. Continue reading

‘Man of Steel’ Movie Review: Completely Exhilarating, but Devoid of Personality
Superman Returns has been a harsh reality for many DC fanyboys/girls to stomach over the years. Their beloved Superman was reduced to a mere shell of a character far removed from his true potential. With the announcement of Man of Steel, director Zack Snyder (300; Watchmen) at the helm, and the great Christopher Nolan (The Dark Knight; Inception) producing, would this be the moment that would redeem the Big Blue Boy Scout? Continue reading

‘The Hangover Part III’ Movie Review: Not the Trilogy we Asked for, but the Ending we Deserve
If the movie trailers and the posters live up to their promise, this is the end for The Wolfpack as we know it. Director Todd Phillips has proclaimed The Hangover Part III as the epic finale of one of the most polarizing franchises of all time. Not disliking Part II myself, as much as everyone else, I still held reservations against Part III. Going in with low expectations, I can say that The Hangover Part III makes up for the disastrous Part II, but comes nowhere near the level of the original. Continue reading
