Fox Reveals Plot Synopsis and Official Logo for 'Gotham' TV Show 2014

Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment have been shaping up the cast of FOX’s Gotham, and have now unveiled the official logo and ploy synopsis. DC Comics have been running the gambit on television with shows like Smallville, Arrow, as well as the recently announced series The Flash, but fans of the Caped Crusader will get a taste of justice in this all new prequel featuring Jim Gordon (Ben McKenzie). Rocksteady Studios dives back into the grim world of Gotham City with their first announcement trailer for Batman: Arkham Knight. After their last successful hit, Batman: Arkham CityRocksteady is looking to close this chapter in their lives and end their Arkham trilogy with a bang. Check out the first big trailer for Batman: Arkham City which features a gameplay mechanic many gamers have been dying to get their hands on, the Batmobile.

Warner Bros. Delays 'Batman Vs. Superman' Until 2016

Well ain’t that a peach? Just as the cast of the untitled Man of Steel 2 or Batman vs. Superman or whatever you want to call it was gaining headway – Ben Affleck as Batman and Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman – Warner bros. has announced this week that the project has been delayed until 2016. Now with July 17, 2015 freed up, WB has positioned Joe Wright’s Pan, a new live action Peter Pan adventure, to take Batman vs. Superman’s place. However, with its sights set on 2016, the epic DC superhero film may clash with a Marvel Studios release. More on this story after the break. Continue reading

Ben Affleck Officially Cast as Batman in Untitled ‘Man of Steel’ Sequel

Ben Affleck Officially Announced to Play Batman

Let it be heard that on Thursday, August 22, 2013 Ben Affleck, Daredevil himself, was officially announced to portray Bruce Wayne aka Batman in the upcoming, untitled Man of Steel sequel aka Batman vs. Superman. Slated to open July 17, 2015, Affleck will be joining Henry Cavill as the two actors will square off when Batman meets Superman in the ultimate showdown of DC superheroes. Gamers excited for Batman: Arkham Origins got a real treat at Comic-Con 2013 this year. Not only were fans treated to appearances by the director of the game, Eric Holmes, as well as Roger Craig Smith and Troy Baker, the newest voices of Batman and the Joker, respectively, but they were also greeted by Geoff Johns, Chief Creative Officer of DC Comics. Those expecting to play the game October 25 were given a sneak peak at new skins available for download as well as one of the villains that has yet to be seen.
