Acquired by Fan Expo and taking place in an all new venue, the Dallas Comic Con is four times larger than previous years. Already, the celebrity guest list is incredibly impressive with almost the entire cast of Firefly/Serenity, Star Trek: The Next Generation cast members, and of course the amazing Stan Lee. Saturday’s schedule for WonderCon 2014 is filled to the brim with amazing panels that will tide you over until San Diego Comic-Con this summer. Big studio panels from Warner Bros., Sony Pictures, and 20th Century Fox are bringing some of this year’s most anticipated films, such as X-Men: Days of Future Past and The Maze Runner. If fans want to avoid the big panels, there are advanced screenings of Orphan Black, Once Upon a Time, The Blacklist. Alas, Indiana Comic-Con has come and gone. The promoters behind the Tampa Bay Comic Con, Orlando Comic Expo, and Nashville Comic Expo were kind enough to sweep through Indianapolis, IN and bring Hoosiers a comic convention of colossal proportions. Amidst the brutal weather the Midwest has seen this winter, Indiana Comic-Con, held March 14-16, 2014, was a HUGE success, managing to sell-out completely March 15th.
