Thursday at Comic-Con 2013 was quite the hectic day. Jam packed full of panels, it’s amazing how this convention is a mere four days long. Trying to see everything is almost suicidal. It’s like an amusement park. However, I made it today’s mission to get the most out of the time I had at SDCC. With five panels on my agenda, Thursday was quite the adventure. On the last day of Comic-Con 2013, Sunday, July 21, it’s all about television. Celebrate the 50th anniversary of Doctor Who, catch up with the stars of Community on their big win to a 5th season, and hear from the stars of Breaking Bad before their final eight episodes. Like any comic-centric convention, WonderCon is very familiar with those who like to dress up and cosplay. As the little sister to the San Diego Comic-Con, WonderCon is almost a preview of what’s in-store this summer. There aren’t any really big names appearing on Sunday other than BBC’s Doctor Who, FX’s Sons of Anarchy, and an overview of the 15-year history of Harry Potter. Today is a big day in film for Comic-Con 2012, bigger than Thursday and even bigger than Friday. Saturday hosts panels for The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, Iron Man 3, Django Unchained, and Man of Steel. There basically wouldn’t be any other reason to go to Comic-Con than this day. Here we are. The Big Kahuna. It will begin on this day, Thursday, July 12. With Preview Night offering a taste of the con, the real deal is here. Could the Mayans be right?
