Chris Hemsworth is getting all sorts of wet and wild this year in theaters. The Aussie born megastar will appear in three leading roles in just the first half of the year alone – Blackhat, In the Heart of the Sea, and Avengers: Age of Ultron. In support of his new movie, Thor himself made a special appearance on The Tonight Show, where per usual Jimmy Fallon tested his guest to a little game. Marvel Event 2014 Cinematic Universe Phase 3 Announcements

Marvel Studios put on a little show and dance number earlier today in Los Angeles at the El Capitan theater where they revealed their plans for Phase 3 of their Cinematic Universe. Along with Ant-Man, which is in production now, Marvel has confirmed Captain America 3, Doctor Strange, Guardians of the Galaxy 2, Thor 3, Black Panther, Captain Marvel, Inhumans, and a two-part Avengers 3 conclusion. Last time we saw the god of thunder in his own standalone picture was back in 2011. And despite the Thor universe being less grounded in reality than any superhero movie we’ve seen before, Marvel Studios stood their ground, took a chance on the character, and raked in a respectable $449.3 million worldwide at the box office. And Marvel hopes to see the character continue to grow in Thor: The Dark World. Far removed from our other favorite Avengers, The Dark World brings the best of science fiction and fantasy together to give Marvel fans one grand adventure.  Continue reading →
